IN CASE OF EMERGENCY?

If you urgently need medical help or advice but it's not a life-threatening situation contact NHS 111 or your nearest Accident & Emergency Department. For immediate, life-threatening emergencies, call the 999 service.

WILL MY INSURANCE COVER MY VISIT?

You do not need Private Healthcare Insurance to see me. However if you are using healthcare insurance, please discuss any appointment with your company and obtain a valid authorisation number before we meet.

I am registered with the providers listed below:

  • Aviva

  • BUPA

  • Vitality Health

  • WPA

Please let me know in advance if your policy has an excess, as you will need to settle this directly with me. If you fail to do so, this will incur an additional administration fee of £25.

Please note that ultimate responsibility for payment rests with you. Should any insurance claim be declined, in part or in whole, then you will be required to pay the outstanding balance with an administration fee of £25.

HOW CAN I GET THE MOST OUT OF MY VISIT?

Please have an idea of your main concerns for your child. It may assist you to write these down.

If possible kindly email me a summary of your child's problems at least 48 hours prior to your first appointment.

Please bring all of your child's medication with you to clinic.

Copies of relevant or recent letters/test results from other health professionals will aid the diagnostic process.xt he..

FOLLOW-UP AND COMMUNICATION

With your permission, I will email a letter to you with a record of what we have discussed and also send a copy to your General Practitioner (GP), so that everyone is kept fully informed. I will also email copies of test results to you for your records.


Following an appointment I may ask you to keep me updated by email, for example if I have recommended a change of treatment


Once we have met, I am able to answer (brief) queries by email.

WHAT ARE THE FEES FOR SELF-PAY PATIENTS?

Initial new patient consultation £250

Follow-up appointment £150

Lung function £50-100 (depending on clinical requirement)
